Antoni is 4 years old. His birthday is December 13th. We found Antoni at the hospital. His father died several years ago. His mother brought him to the hospital because he was sick. But the next day she wasn’t feeling well and admitted herself as a patient also. She died less then 24 hours later due to HIV/AIDS. Antoni stayed alone in the hospital for 3 weeks until he came to live at Treasures of Africa Children’s Home. He has also been found to be HIV positive and positive for TB. His liver and spleen were enlarged and his belly distended when he first arrived at the orphanage. But since he has received treatment, good nutrition and lots of love and prayer, his recent visit to the doctor showed his spleen and liver are now normal.

Although Antoni’s little body has been very sick, his attitude is astounding. It is rare to find him without a smile on his face and little mischievous look in his eye. He is quite the performer and has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets! He brings so much laughter and joy into the home and the other children love him. We know God has something big in store for this little guy. And we are committed to doing all we can to see that come to pass….as well as praying and believing for complete healing in his body!
