Ray

He is 7 years old and his birthday is July 28th. Ray is a true orphan, as both his father and mother died in of AIDS in 2006, two months apart. Raymond was an only child and had no relatives to care for him. Thankfully, he has tested negative for HIV!!!!! He came into the orphanage with some stitches in his foot which had become infected, but otherwise he is a healthy child! He was excited to come to Treasures of Africa and has adjusted very well. He has slept through the nights without any trouble and plays very well with the other children. He was very excited to start school, as he had never attended before. He has a very sweet spirit, loves swimming and soccer and is a delight to have in the home.
