Zoe

Zoe was born July 11, 2007 at Mawenzi Hospital where her mother abandoned her immediately after she was born. The Welfare Dept brought her to us on July 12, 2007. She was unname, so our staff gave her the name Zoe, which is from a Greek word meaning “the life of God”.

She was very tiny when she arrived but we were so excited to have this newborn baby. She has been a joy to have since that first day. In these past months we have enjoyed watching her grow and change. Her sweet personality is coming forth more and more each day.

Zoe is doing well here and getting so big. She is a happy baby and the bigger she gets the more she smiles and laughs. She is truly a blessing from the Lord. Zoe loves to sit in our arms and make all kinds of noises. We all laugh and enjoy all the different ways she shows her fun, sweet personality. She is a joy to have here with us.
